Additionally, we collaborate with a network of trusted organisations that act as referral or sponsoring agencies for grant applications. These partnerships ensure that individuals in need receive the help they require, with these organisations often serving as conduits for grant payments.
Birmingham City Council have provided useful information on their website of a wide range of community organisations that local people can access, which are local, flexible and responsive. Through being able to access these resources people can continue to enjoy good quality lives while maximising their independence: The Neighbourhood Network Schemes in Birmingham. Birmingham has developed a Neighbourhood Network Schemes which are local and constituency based network, which enable local people and organisations to engage with and invest in their local community provision. There is a directory that is regularly updated with information about different groups, organisations, activities and services in different constituencies. This is for the purposes of supporting vulnerable people to connect to individuals, groups, organisations, activities, services and places in their neighbourhoods.
Handsworth Charity has links to other organisations that have made applications on behalf of their clients/users/beneficiaries and acted as a referral or sponsoring organisation. These organisations are willing to act as the conduit for any grant offer made to an individual in need.
